The Society of Anaesthetists of Zambia (SAZ), in conjunction with the Ministry of Health held it’s 6th international conference on the 1st and 2nd of November, 2019 at the Neelkanth Sarovar Premier Hotel in Lusaka.
The theme of the conference centred on the provision of anaesthesia and critical care to trauma patients and sought to encompass all health care providers who are involved in the management of these patients. Pre-conference workshops covering essential topics such Blood Transfusion, Basic Life Support and Paediatric Advanced Life Support, Regional Anaesthesia and Primary Trauma Care were held between the 29th and 31st of October, 2019.
The event organisers extended invitation to the anaesthetic, orthopaedic, surgical, emergency care and critical care providers as well as any health care providers who are involved in the management of trauma patients.
